Dance With Me… Worshipping My Beloved

In my presbytery it was spoken over me – “Dance, Dance,Dance”!

This song deeply moves me as I hear the Lord call to me…

“Dance with Me.”

Dance With Me Lyrics

VERSE 1:
Behold You have come over the hills upon the mountain
To me, You will run. My Beloved, You’ve captured my heart
(repeat)

CHORUS 1:
Won’t You dance with me, Oh
Lover of my soul,
to the song of all songs?

VERSE 2:
With You, I will go You are my Love You are my Fair One
The winter has passed and the springtime has come
(repeat)

CHORUS 2:
Won’t You dance with me, Oh
Lover of my soul,
to the song of all songs?

Romance me, Oh
Lover of my soul
to the song of all songs.

(REPEAT for Guitar solo if necessary)

  1. I love that word… Twitterpated. 🙂 I can still hear the grumbly old owl saying it in Bambi. “He’s twitterpated!”

    Love it.

I know… me, too. The fluid movement of God’s grace through my life has become a dance, an ebb and flow of live and blessing and truth that is so real… The love astounds. The music swells and I’m off once again. It’s what God and I do in my secret place. We dance…. Jesus and I twirl around on the creaky floorboards of the veranda of my house – the old farm house – where God beckons me to meet with Him, and just be with Him. Where He is ‘restoring’ my house and has planted me a garden. A place where I can thrive. And there we dance… till my toes tingle. And when we need a break we swim in the pond and play jacks at the Father’s feet while He rocks close by clicking out a chorus of His love on the floorboards nearby.

    I love Him So.
