More About Your Coach:

Michelle lives her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother and child of the Most High God. Saved at the age of 12, and a child of the 70s & 80s – Michelle lived a good part of her teens and early adulthood in a prodigal existence desperately seeking Love and Purpose in her life. In 1998, Michelle married her beloved husband, Scott, and their two families became one. Over the years their struggles and victories have proven to solidify their bond and draw their hearts to unity and God. In September 2000, she and Scott began to attend church with their children and have never looked back. They find Him to be fully faithful, deeply personal and would not trade their life with Him for anything this world has to offer.

Michelle inspires others through creative expression. As a writer, speaker and visual artist she inspires and encourages others from the depth of the personal relationship she enjoys with God. Her passion is to see God’s people saved, healed, delivered, equipped and empowered to walk in the victorious life God created them to live.

Michelle has thirteen years of professional experience in a number of positions in both the ministry and secular fields. These positions include but are not limited to site management, administrative and support roles in ministry, deputy clerk in the Dallas County Court system, and women’s ministry leader.

When she is not helping others live the abundant life she can be found painting or planning her next radio show! She also loves to become deeply immersed in the Word of God. She and her husband are the proud parents for four 20 somethings. As empty nesters they make their home in North Texas with their sweet dog, Pogo.

Family: Married to my husband, Scott, since 1998, when they blended their family of three and four into seven (number of completion). They have four grown children: Brittany, Travis, Taylor and Megan. Their eldest child, Justin, went home to heaven for safe-keeping at the age of 17 in 2005. Favorite times for the couple are spent with family at birthday dinners and holidays year round. They find it a blessing to have all their children and extended family living nearby.

Salvation Experience: In 1982 after recognizing my sinful nature and need of salvation, I told my parents. They called the youth minister at our church who stopped by with an open book test. “Read these Scriptures and answer these questions and then we will come by and review them with you.” I must have passed because they did come by and review my answers after which we prayed and I received Christ as my Savior.

Previous Line of Work: Jack of many trades, but master of none. Mostly food and customer service positions.

Most Fascinating: How God redeems even the most horrible things and, if we allow Him to do so, restores them back to better than we remember them.
