Name Badge Names of God studyMichelle is a seasoned ministry leader. She discovered her writing voice early in life, but took more than 37 years to finally jump into the writing world and put her “best foot forward” so to speak. She has written several Bible studies, is an inspiring speaker and Bible teacher, and has four years experience leading women’s ministry at her local church. Her passion is to see people vitally connected to the Word of God experiencing His healing power and presence as they walk in a deeply personal and intimate relationship with their loving God.

Note from Michelle: In 2008 I set out on a Journey inspired by Ann Spangler’s book – Praying the Names of God. I honestly had no idea what this journey was going to look like when I started, I had Ann’s book, a number of Bibles, concordances, dictionaries and commentaries – and a very new Bible Explorer program that I was filling with books as fast as my debit card would let me!

This Old Worn Out Bible

The result blog posts four and a half miles long full of the deep study I did and the resources I sited. Couple this with a deepened, personal relationship with God that marked out every aspect of my life that year. It still amazes me!

I have gotten all the posts moved over from my old blog, and find it no wonder these posts remain the #1 thing that draws people to my blog from search engines is the Names of God study that I charted in those wonderful weeks and months of 2008. God is so faithful – discover Him for yourself with the Hebrew Names of God study posts.

PLEASE NOTE: Many of you land here looking for a Hebrew Names of God Cross Stitch Graph/Pattern. My friend Julie’s mom had this graph/pattern and Juliementioned it in the comments when these posts originally “aired” the world.wide.web in 2008.

Julie has her own blog where you may contact her directly to inquire about the Cross Stitch Graph. Her url is http://www.mylongandwindingroad.wordpress.com . Just reference my blog and the Hebrew Names of God Graph and she will let you know how you may get one. Thanks again for stopping by – I pray you read on a little while you are here. 🙂

  1. Hey Michelle,

My name is Sarah and I live in Ft. Worth and I am moving to Dallas next week with my husband. I can’t believe I stumbled on your blog and we live so close! Anyway, I googled “names of God cross stitch pattern” and it led me to a comment made by a Julie from Georiga that was on your previous blog. It is on your former site under an article you wrote on March 13, 2008. I would like to get/purchase that pattern from her if I could somehow get in touch with her. Anyway, your blog rocks!

    Thanks!
    Sarah

    1. Michelle,
I, too, am looking for the cross stitch pattern for the Hebrew Names of God. I saw this done and hung on the wall at Precept Ministries in Chattanooga, TN.

Did you ever find the pattern? If so, can you share this information with me? I would love to have this.

      I live in Dallas, too.
