Yep, that’s right. I anticipated myself right into mild disappointment. Not really… I’m totally good. I just posted it on the current post. 😀 I’m a bit of a rebel in case you didn’t know.So my Scripture is… Isaiah 58:6 (MSG)
This is the kind of fast day I’m after: to break the chains of injustice, get rid of exploitation in the workplace, free the oppressed, cancel debts.
2. Thinking about school days – my friend Amy’s birthday is January 1 and I used to call her no matter where we were and wish her Happy Birthday just after the strike of midnight. Well… With a little tweaking-I FB sang Happy Birthday – totally. 🙂
And that brings me to the real point-in high school when I wrote a little note to my friends at the end we would put Write Back! Write Back. Yeah, and in case you didn’t get it- WRITE BACK!

I read your comment you left for me on my blog, and needless to say I was so excited that I had a comment. I was checking just before midnight and I screamed…yes I screamed…”I’ve got a comment”! I made my husband listen as I read it! He really was excited for me…you were my first comment! Okay, time for me to get real.
I just wanted to let you know that I didn’t get everything put away like I anticipated before the new year. That is an area that God is working on in my life, not be such a Martha in a Mary world.
I am hoping that thru the SSMT we can encourage one another and meet many new Siesta friends. I hope to hear from you again soon….Happy New Year!
PS – I too was checking just after midnight for the posting and then reread the instructions and realized it wouldn’t be until 8:00 AM, which is 9:00 AM EST. I am a novice, but will learn!
