Temptations will come and go, but I cannot resist them in my flesh. My soul, in and of itself, is weak and given to passions, appetites and desires that will lead my heart far from God. The enemy knows my tells, he and his army of fallen angels and demonic spirits are students of my habits, they know the snares that will shift my focus away from God. Yet, the scriptures assure us that no temptation has seized us – and what we struggle with is common. God has given us a way to bear up under it.

I affirm these statements as my own true and personal beliefs. I further state that my profession of faith in Jesus Christ as both savior and Lord has been a constant confession from the age of 12 and that I was baptized in water at salvation in October 1982 and again in February 2005, after I received personal revelation and a renewed commitment in my life as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
