Splendiferous

Michelle has worked in vocational ministry for the better part of the last 13 years and while on staff at a large D/FW area church, she met a pastor who had been a professional golfer before entering the pastorate. As she grew to know him through their common work experiences, she began to hear God speak to her about him and felt He showed her a peacock. She wasn’t sure she should paint the peacock for her co-worker – but something about it would not let her go. She perused pictures online and began to sketch and draw them. She painted one other picture before Splendiferous came to be about four years after she received the original vision.
She resisted the idea that a Peacock would be a flattering image to present to a humble man, but then God said this to her, “I gave him a platform that would make him visible because he declares my glory.” Splendiferous speaks of the amazing truth that a life surrendered to God is fully arrayed and on display for all to see – declaring His glory wherever he goes.
